Wife's 97 Savage has TERRIBLE backfire probs. Got a factory pipe that previous owner used a cold chisel to hammer out the baffels. Got a Jardine pipe that should be here tomorrow. Anyway, I removed the plug and tried to back out a half turn the a/f screw. Problem is the a/f screw is in pretty bad shape. It won't turn in or out at all. I don't want to take the bike out of commission. I want a used carb. What years will fit the 97 and where can I find one? I will rejet it before putting it on the bike.
